Custom Computers in Europe
Hey guys and gals - I'm looking to have a desktop custom made for me. I don't want anything glitzy, I just want to be able to find a company that will allow me to design/customize a quality desktop for a simple price. I don't really care where in Europe the company is located. The only prerequisites are:
They have a good reputation.
They have an English website.
They ship to Germany.
Thanks for any advice in advance.

Good ol' Overclockers UK, aka OcUK - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/delivery.php - they deliver internationally. They're British, so overpriced, but then you won't be paying the 17.5% VAT.
Changing your location to NY & RO & DE?

Thanks for the link Snogs. That's the third site from the UK that I've seen, and they have the cheapest prices thus far, which is good to see. So the VAT is the British sales tax then? If I don't have to pay that for an "international" sale than that would be superb.
I'm a NYer, currently living in RO, and I'm thinking of making a visit to friends in DE, where I can pick up a PC that is shipped there from the UK. (unless I find a cheaper deal elsewhere) lol

Yes, VAT is Value Added Tax. It was so they could introduce a tax that made it harder for poor people to buy stuff. As opposed to our Income Tax, which hits you less if you're poor and more if you're rich.
Politics, gotta love it
